November 13, 2009 - CD Update: Stefania's first Latin Album titled "Sonadora" has been mastered and will be available next month! The CD will consist of 12 tracks, a fun and unique mix of pop, rock, dance, and various Latin rhythms. Stefania describes her first works as "a collection of ideas and feelings coming from my very heart and soul". You can hear a few of the tracks here on her website! It starts with inspiration. A very moving trip that opens a mind and heart to new ideas, and to a different outlook on life. Appreciation for the simple things in life - the beauty of nature, the smell of a home cooked meal, even the hustle and bustle of people's movement in the city is seen in a new bright light.

This new inspiration becomes a dream. Sitting at my piano, my new ideas and feelings come to me and are expressed through an enchanting melody and lyrics written down on a piece of paper. Looking back at what I created, I realize that it came so naturally to me, and it was very meaningful at the same time. A few days later a new idea comes along and another song is created. Then I think to myself, maybe if I work hard at this, this is something I can do.

This dream becomes a reality. I take my ideas to a very talented, creative person. Pianist/Producer Joe Mazzarella looks at and listens to my work and gives me his feedback. He encourages me to keep writing. The songs are great and he will work on them with me and produce them. We get to work right away and as we finish one song, a new one has been written and is ready to go. The songs are taken to a recording studio, and with the participation of some amazing friends and musicians, the dream of my first Latin album, "Sonadora" has become the real thing.

This reality is my future. As I keep working hard, continue growing as a musician, and creating new material, my plan is to share my music with others and make this inspiration, and my dream come true. Today is a new day for making unique, powerful, and catchy music for people to sing and hear. This is what I do best.

Influences of Juanes, Juan Luis Guerra, Julieta Venegas, Ivy Queen, Paulina Rubio, Selena, hip-hop, Colombian cumbia, reggaeton, dance music, jazz, life experiences, and a vivid imagination have shaped my music. My music however, is not like anything else today. "Sonadora" brings a unique and creative style into Latin music.
